Welcome to our fabric and wallpaper care instructions page! Here are some quick tips on how best to care for your Color Caravan fabrics and wallpaper.

We understand that keeping your fabrics and wallpaper looking their best is of the utmost importance., We have created this resource to help you properly care for your materials so they will look beautiful for years to come.

Fabric Care

Belgian Linen - Machine wash warm or cool on a gentle/delicate setting. Machine dry on a low temperature setting.

Linen Cotton Canvas - Machine dry on a low temperature setting. Iron on the reverse side of the fabric. Dry clean if preferred.

Cotton Canvas - Machine dry on a low temperature setting. Iron on the reverse side of the fabric. Dry clean if preferred.

Organic Cotton Sateen - Machine wash cool on a gentle/delicate setting, using phosphate-free detergent. Machine dry on a low temperature setting. Iron on the reverse side of the fabric. Dry clean if preferred.

Performance Linen - Wash separately in cool water using a gentle machine cycle. Machine dry using a low temperature or permanent press setting and remove promptly to avoid wrinkles. Dry clean if preferred.

Performance Velvet - Wash separately in cool water using a gentle machine cycle. Machine dry using a low temperature or permanent press setting and remove promptly to avoid wrinkles. Do not dry clean. Do not bleach.

Recycled CanvasMachine wash in cool water using a gentle machine cycle. Machine dry using a low temperature setting and remove promptly to avoid wrinkles.

 

Wallpaper Care

Prepasted Removable Smooth Wallpaper - A durable, water-activated adhesive backing paper. Perfect for renters or a quick change of style. Our prepasted smooth wallpaper is fully removable and recyclable. 

Not recommended for use on walls with texture or walls painted with “scrubbable” paints. For textured walls, wallpaper may not be a good option and rigorous testing is recommended.

Peel & Stick Wallpaper - Our peel & stick wallpaper is the perfect option for renters, dorm rooms, kids rooms, bookcases, or any space you want a big impact, with low-fuss. Peel & stick wallpapers have a subtle linen texture, are DIY-friendly, self-adhesive, removable and cleanable! Eco-friendly inks, formaldehyde-, phthalate-, and PVC-free. Peel & stick wallpaper works best For smooth, flat, non-textured surfaces.

Surface type, primers and paints will affect adhesion and removability of this wallpaper. Washable paints and no-VOC paints prevent full adhesion. 

Non-Pasted Traditional Pebble Wallpaper - Timeless and beautiful, our non-pasted traditional pebble wallpaper has a subtle leathered texture with a gorgeous matte finish. Traditional pebble wallpaper comes in double rolls, is paste-activated, highly durable scrub and scratch resistant, and mold, mildew and water resistant so your paper lasts for years to come!

Paste is required, and a professional paper installer is highly recommended. 

Grasscloth Wallpaper - The ultimate in timeless elegance and luxury. Our 100% handcrafted natural sisal has a subtle luster, with beautiful texture, and unique striations and variations for an artisanal look. Grasscloth wall coverings are best in low traffic areas like dining rooms, accent walls, bookcases, or powder baths. Grasscloth wallpaper is sold in double rolls.

They may be lightly brushed with a soft surface feather duster to remove dust and are very low maintenance. Never use cleaning agents to remove a stain. If necessary, only use the foam from a gentle household dishwashing liquid and rub softly with a soft white cloth. Always do a test patch in a low-visibility area first before cleaning. Grasscloth is not recommended in high moisture areas such as bathrooms with bathtubs and showers.

Paste is required for installation and a professional paper installer is highly recommended. Slight color variations between batches are normal. Seams between panels will be visible as is the natural aspect of this beautiful paper.
